The Lodge and Team
To provide comfortable access to all the best fly-fishing destinations in Patagonia Chile, Flywise Anglers has developed two lodges and offers a unique split destination program
Our first lodge is located one hour northwest from Balmaceda airport and thirty minutes southeast of Coyhaique. The lodge is perched upon the mountain side overlooking the Simpson valley below featuring an incredible view over some of the rivers and lakes that will be fished during the week. The view is remarkable, unforgettable, and ever changing with each hour of the day. Anglers get a good sense of direction, location, and prevailing weather prior to departing on their fly-fishing excursions daily.
Our second lodge is very remote and located on the shore of Lago Misterioso. This lodge features the famous Niregauo River that is known as the world’s number one grasshopper fishery. Our private, exclusive access points within two massive ranches provide over 50 kilometers of the river and its tributaries to fish. A week alone could be spent fishing these private ranches featuring very easy walk and wade fishing, healthy numbers and size of brown trout, and incredible dry action. Lakes in the surrounding area of this lodge harbor trophy brown trout. The size average is impressive in these lakes and trophy hunters can find fish well over twenty pounds!
Occupancy
Occupancy of the lodge is 6 anglers per week, based on two anglers sharing a room with private bathroom. The cuisine is prepared by our professional chef, delivering top-notch international and Chilean cuisine on the menu. All meals are prepared at the lodge, and our low occupancy allows our chef to tailor the menu to our guests preferences and or requests.
