Fishing with Flywise Anglers provides me with an opportunity for an adventure of a lifetime every time I have the privilege of fishing with them. [I have had 4 adventure's of a lifetime] For context, I enjoy dry fly fishing, new waters, places not known to many, A chance for a fish found only here[monsters], plus the adventure of great company, guides, food, nature, and organization! Flywise Anglers provides all that for you. Having had the opportunity to fish with Adam both in Canada and Chile I can assure you that you will not be disappointed in his operation or your experience. Adam and his guides can make you feel like every next cast is going to be the one. The feeling of being nervous, almost not wanting the big one to eat your fly, because you don't want to mess it up, is awesome. Sitting in the wood fired hot tub, over looking the valley, after a long adventurous day, is something you don't want to miss. Remember you only go around once, try it, I know you will love it. I took my brother this year, he had fly fished for one week, and not in a year and a half, and of course he caught the biggest fish. His last invite for sure!!!
Make it a great day, Expect/Live the Amazing!

I have been visiting Flywise Anglers since its inception in 2015 and I have visited in January, February, and March. The fishing can be great any of the time the season is open.
In addition to the fishing, all the other amenities are great. The fact that they only allow six rods creates plenty of personal attention. The meals and wine provided are superb and with so few people personal requests can be handled. The accommodations could not be more comfortable.
There are two separate lodges which provide a large variety of fishing locations each of which not only offers different fishing but also gives you an abundant amount of beautiful scenery.
The host (Adam and Ema) and all the guides speak English eliminating the communication barrier.
I am 82 years old and will continue to go there as long as I am able.

ENJOY! Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
I have been fishing in Patagonia Chile with lodge owner Adam Henderson for 15 years. Adam is an avid fisherman and the most knowledgeable guide I have ever fished with. The Flywise Angler lodge and fishing program is unique, a true boutique fishing lodge with a maximum of 6 anglers. Each day of fishing is custom tailored to the conditions and fishing experience that the fisherman desires. You can fish lakes for browns with dry flies, you can fish rivers or streams, or you can go head hunting for big browns. My best brown in 2023 was a 30-inch monster that rose to the surface and crushed a size 8 Fat Albert. For most anglers the browns will be the biggest trout that they have ever caught, and it just gets better because the scenery is incredible. Fisherman say this is a trip of a lifetime but I say why only come one time; you will be hooked and a return trip is a must.

Dear Adam and Ema,

Flywise Anglers of Patagonia Chile is the best lodge I have been to. The food, lodging, transportation are superb. The lagos and rivers of the area provide the best trout fishing I have ever experienced. Using motor powered pontoon boats, (the guides row them most of the day), the clients are safe, comfortable, and are well positioned to cast a fly.

Double digit brown and rainbow trout are not uncommon. Dry flies are the norm, but streamers and wets are also effective.

Adam Henderson and his wife Ema have developed a program that exceeds my experience in 40 years of lodges in the American West, British Columbia, Europe and Upstate New York.

The guides are exceptional. They are friendly, professional, experienced and most of all, helpful.

Thank you Adam and Ema. All of the hard work has paid wonderful dividends.

I've been asked to write a recommendation letter concerning Flywise Anglers. I do so enthusiastically.

It has been a lifetime privilege for me to have been hosted by Adam Henderson for many years, in both Chile and British Columbia. With awe-inspiring hard work, creativity, and perseverance, Adam and his wife and partner Ema have developed Flywise Anglers into something truly special.

Transfers to and from the Coyhaique lodge are brief and smooth. The lodge has a beautiful setting overlooking the Simpson River valley. It is immaculately clean, the bedrooms and common areas are comfortably appointed, and the dining room features a walk-in fireplace: just right for preparation of lamb asado. Fishing opportunities in the lakes and rivers throughout the Coyhaique area are both worthy and abundant. At the end of the day, a wood-fired hot tub awaits.

The Lago Misterioso lodge is located a few hours’ drive to the northeast. Our group of six has for the past several years spent all of the fishing days there. The lodge is in a monastically private and beautiful setting. The lake holds both trophy fish and numbers. The action focuses mainly on dragons, with the occasional prodigious caddis hatch. No other anglers are to be seen.

We also fish an array of other lakes in the vicinity, each with distinct characteristics, challenges, and opportunities. In addition, a highlight for me is to visit the Nirehuao River. It is not fairly describable. Think grasshoppers and a sore arm.

Adam is supported by top-notch guides, who are friendly, knowledgeable, patient and English-speaking. They are safety-first, and work really hard. On the lakes we fish from NRS boats that Adam has assembled and customized. A lot of the other Coyhaique guides have been made happy buying them from him.

I am acquainted with many over-achievers in marriage, and Adam is one of them. Ema is a logistics wizard, keeps everything running smoothly, provides Adam with quality supervision, and spoils us shamelessly.

I could go on, but you get the idea. Most of what you see at Flywise Anglers has been built by Adam and Ema with their own hands. These people are among the most simply competent and caring that I’ve been blessed to know.
