The Guides
Adam Henderson is the proud creator of Flywise Anglers Lodge and fly fishing guide service, Patagonia, Chile. Adam was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. Fly-fishing was introduced to Adam at a very young age. As a young child, Adam created his first fly tying company at age ten, and distributed flies throughout the Okanagan and Kamloops area of British Columbia. He started rafting rivers and learning the tricks of the trade from The Blackwater Company when he was fifteen years old. He has always considered fly fishing a worthy excuse to explore the wilderness.
Adam has worked many places in British Columbia. Currently he is the manager/ head guide at Steelhead Valhalla Lodge working for Jeff Vermillion, Sweetwater Travel Company.
Adam has coordinated pack horse trips and riding adventures in the Chilcotin region of British Columbia. He has also worked as a professional musician amongst many other activities.
Adam has worked sixteen South American summers in Patagonia, Chile. Three of those summers he worked as head guide for El Saltamontes Lodge. He created and executed the fly-fishing program at The Dragonfly Lodge, Patagonia, Chile. He also worked with Nic fin Outfitters stalking the biggest brown trout Patagonia has to offer over the last few years prior to launching Flywise Anglers.
